Fail! Fail! Fail! Fail! Where is the rest of the British Army?
This is a fail, as you can see from the picture there's barely soldiers there.
So this all happened because Iroquois led by the Mohawks chief Joseph Brant where supposed to meet the rest of the British men by Saratoga, New York but as you can see that didn't happen.
The Iroquois had gotten scared and retreated because Arnold sent out a capture Loyalist to spread the rumor that he had a large army. So Iroquois were tricked and thought that they were about to be out numbered. Oh Boy, Now What Do We Call That ? "Failure" !

British War Fail
When Britian was at war with America, France, and Spain, they had few troops to spare. Even in being one of the, if not the best, countries in the world, England just couldn't win against all of the other countries. England could not have picked a worse time to go to war with even ANOTHER country.

The Battle of Long Island
Want to talk about a fail?
The Battle of Long Island now that was a fail A MAJOR FAIL!
Ok, so you are probably confused because the Brits are known for having a huge army and all the guns and ships they need. They had all the amunition but they DIDNT have the brains.
The British excpected George Washington to fight a gentlemens battle, no tricking no sneaking out just a plain old gentlemens battle. Well guess what they were so focused on getting ready for the battle having all there troops ready that they didnt even think of any other things that could happen. For example maybe George Washington might trick the British and sneak out and not fight...OH WAIT THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED!
Bam Britsh Fail right there.
Yorktown Penisula- British Fail
Imagine your name is General Cornwallis and you set up a base at Yorktown, a peninsula on Chesapeake Bay, so you and your army can receive supplies by ships.
You are foolish enough to also make the perfect opportunity for Washington and his men to attack.
On August 1781, a large French fleet arrives from the West Indies and blocks Chesapeake Bay. The ships blocked the British ships and trapped you on the peninsula. Then American and French troops stormed Yorktown, turning it into rubbel. With no way out you surrendered your force of 8,000. You lose. Can you say, " EPIC FAIL!"

British Foe FAIL
As the British fought the legit Americans, they were also at war with France, Spain and the Netherlands! OMG! If you are in a war with America why would you fight at the same time with three other super-powerful countries! This situation is the equivalence of a Jedi, light saber- dueling with three ultra-apocalyptic Sith Lords of doom and destruction and having a battalion of Stormtroopers fire at him at DA SAME TIME!!! America added to the list of countries Britan was at war with, along with the other countries, spread British resources, manpower, and troops too thin.

Saratoga: A Turning Point
Watch This Video: It explains it all.
http://www.history.com/videos/battle-of-saratoga-turns-the-tide-of-the-american-revolution
Basically this was a British fail because Burgoyne's army was running out of supplies, and they needed horses. Still the general decided to send a raiding party to Vermont to see what they can find.On there way to Albany they met up with a powerful Continental Army force led by General Horatio Gates. Gates soldiers were waiting on a ridge called Bemis Heights, near Saratoga, New York. The Americans built up earthen walls, which to fight. On September 19, the Americans attacked but the British held their position.
On October 7, another battle broke out. Again Arnold led daring charges against the British. He galloped through the battlefield. Burgoyne Hessian mercenaries had gotten frightened then they began to fall back.

Navy Fail
England had the strongest navy in the world, and usually won most naval battles. John Paul Jones showed that, at his greatest battle against the Serapis, even though America had a terrible navy, we could still defeat them. After being very close to failure with the British captain after trying to let him surrender, Jones stated "I have not yet begun to fight." After this Jones manned-up and owned the Serapis.

Fort Sackville- British Fail
FACT 1:George Roger Clark was a twenty-four year old, six-foot tall, red-headed, Kentucky frontier man.Clark wanted to defend the frontier against the British and the Native Americans using the lines he is now famous for, " If a country is not worth protecting, the country is not worth claiming."
FACT 2: Governor Henry ordered Clark raise an army to capture a British post.
FACT 3: A force of 200 left by boat to the British post Kaskaskia. With no trouble they captured the post and moved on to the east towards Fort Sackville.
FACT 4: On February 1779, Clark and his men arrived at Fort Sackville ready to claim it. Because the rivers were overflowing, Hamilton did not expect an attack. Clark then pretended to have many more soldiers than he did and frightened the troops to retreat.

FAIL: The British retreated when they had a much bigger army and could have easily defended themselves but, they fell for the trick and retreated.

Bunker Hill
The Battle of Bunker Hill was indeed a MAJOR FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The British, even though they won, BARELY got the victory. Apparently the greatest army in the world can barely win against a group of untrained rebels! The British weren't prepared, had no protection, and fought from downhill, and had no plan to trap the americans, causing 1000 British Soldiers killed or wounded. A British Officer, a contributor of the major fail, said " The loss we have sustained is greater than we can bare". FAIL.
